In ASL,"test" is signed by moving the index fingers downward. Changing them into “X” handshapes. Then, changing them back into straight index fingers and moving them down a bit more while changing them into “X” handshapes a second time. You can use this simple sign for any kind of test, whether it's for school, health checks, or other types of evaluations. When you want to talk about a specific test, just sign "test" and then add what kind of test it is.
