Make both hands flat with fingers together, then place them at an angle and move them in a cutting motion, like slicing a pizza. This simple sign shows how to cut pizza into pieces and is easy to remember. The Deaf community uses this sign a lot when talking about food or ordering at restaurants. It came from watching people cut real pizzas. Another way to sign pizza (that seems to be becoming more popular) is to use the "double z" + "a" method. Make a bent "v" handshape and then draw a "double z" in the air and end with an "a" handshape.
